About Westwood

Westwood Elementary, established in 1957, is a K-5 public school in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District.  We have an enrollment of approximately 250 students.  We currently have 8 general education classrooms, in addition to 2 Special Day Classrooms for students who are Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing and 2 Special Day Classrooms for students with unique, Extensive Needs.  We have a dedicated staff of approximately 60 members and an active community of parents/guardians who are committed to providing a safe, engaging,  and memorable experience for our students!

Westwood Elementary became a California Distinguished School in 2008!  

Westwood is proud to be part of the El Dorado Middle School and Concord High School feeder pattern.
